About the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership (SFP)

Sustainable Fisheries Partnership (SFP) is an international marine conservation NGO dedicated to helping seafood supply chains function in an environmentally friendly fashion. Founded in 2006, SFP has been leading and catalyzing fishery and aquaculture improvement projects (FIPs and AIPs) around the globe, by convening, educating, and advising supply chain stakeholders, including major retailers, restaurants, buyers, producers (fishers and fish farmers), NGOs, and fisheries management and scientific institutions, to improve fisheries and aquaculture practices and policies. The organization is mainly funded through donations from philanthropic foundations and corporate sponsorship.

SFP is one of USAID Fish Right’s implementing partners, running the domestic Buyer Engagement and Philippine blue swimming crab supply chain interventions.
